- Präteritum (Imperfekt / Simple past)
- It describes events that occurred in the past and are complete.
- z.B. “Ich spielte”
- Perfekt (Present perfekt)
- It describes events that occurred in the past but focuses on the result of the action.
- z.B. “Ich habe gespielt”
